How to judge the quality of aluminum filling balls:

、α-Al2O3 content: The α-Al2O3 content reflects the degree of alumina calcination. The higher the calcination degree, the more α-Al2O3 content, and the worse the moisture absorption of alumina with increasing α-Al2O3 content.

、Particle size: Mainly refers to its fineness. The particle size should be appropriate. If it is too coarse, it will cause slow dissolution in the electrolyte and even precipitation. If it is too fine, it is easy to lose through flying.

、Wear coefficient: The so-called wear coefficient is the percentage of changes in particle size distribution after alumina samples are subjected to grinding and collision under certain conditions in a fluidized bed. The wear coefficient is a physical indicator that characterizes the strength of alumina.

、Angle of repose: Refers to the angle formed by the natural accumulation of the material on a smooth surface. Alumina with a larger angle of repose is more easily dissolved in the electrolyte and can be well covered on the electrolyte crust during electrolysis, with less loss due to flying.

、Bulk density: It refers to the mass of the material per unit volume in its natural state. Generally, alumina with a smaller bulk density is conducive to dissolution in the electrolyte.

、Wear coefficient: The so-called wear coefficient is the percentage of changes in particle size distribution after alumina samples are subjected to grinding and collision under certain conditions in a fluidized bed. The wear coefficient is a physical indicator that characterizes the strength of alumina.
